What to Expect from Our Time Together
At Embodied Photography, every session is a collaborative, gentle process designed around you — your story, your needs, and your comfort.
Whether you’re feeling excited, nervous, vulnerable, empowered — or all of the above — know that you’re not alone. This is a space where you’re held, not judged.
Together, we’ll create something that honours your journey and celebrates your presence.
Before the Shoot
We begin with a confidential chat over the phone or via video to get to know each other. This first step is all about you.
We’ll talk about what brings you to this experience, what you’re hoping to explore or express, and any needs, boundaries, or questions you’d like to share. From there, we begin gently planning a session that supports your comfort, safety, and intentions.
On the Day
Our photoshoot is grounded in consent, openness, and non-judgement.
There’s no pressure to perform or be anything other than your honest, present self. You will never be asked to pose, reveal, or share more than you're ready for. You’re not a subject being captured — you're a whole person being witnessed.
This is a space for you to reclaim your image, your narrative, and your sense of self — gently and powerfully.
After the Shoot
We’ll schedule a short check-in call a few days after your shoot to reflect on your experience and discuss the images for selection and editing.
You’ll receive a beautiful, private digital gallery and the images you select are edited with intention — always preserving your natural form, never altering your truth.
If you're unsure, nervous, or still questioning if this is right for you — that's okay. We can begin with a simple conversation, no expectations.
